change for a ten spot

so, art 180 is having a little birthday celebration in the form of a community art project and fundraiser. i think this is a great idea...

i had been thinking of submitting a ten, but my leo tendencies and artistic freak out was delaying my participation...then last week sometime, i received an invite from quirk to submit a ten.

how could i say no to them? i didn't - i pulled on my big girl think cap, and started sketching pretty crazily...after about 20 or so sketches [on illustrator, in photoshop, in my sketchbook, back to illustrator, try some tracing paper]...i came up with this completely opposite and organic design using recycled materials.
